FIRE FIGHTING

The Continuing Education Division at Cedar Valley College in partnership with the Desoto Fire Academy has developed a partnership program where by the graduates of the DeSoto Fire Academy will be awarded 54.1 Continuing Education Units (CEU's). These units can be used toward Life Experience Credits for an Associate and/or Bachelor's degree at universities.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN

The Continuing Education Division at Cedar Valley College, with the City of DeSoto Fire Academy, has developed a partnership program whereby the graduates of the DeSoto Emergency Medical Technician Training program will be awarded 17.6 Continuing Education Units(CEU's).  These units can be used toward Life Experience Credit for an Associate and/or Bachelor degree at Northwood University.
